Export

Th' export screen be used t' export th' selected song or set in popular file formats. Besides allowin' ye t' choose th' location and file format fer export, this screen also allows ye t' choose output options. When ye be all done, tap on th' Export button in th' upper right corner t' export and optionally upload yer files. Tappin' on th' Cancel button in th' upper left corner will close th' window.

OnSong automatically selects th' currently viewed song or set fer export but ye can change this in th' Scope Menu.

Choose Export Location

Yer selected export location be displayed here with th' option t' choose a different location. This will let ye browse folders in th' storage location t' choose fer export. Options include: OnSong^® Drive, Dropbox, File Sharin', Files, Google Drive, etc.

Output Options

This displays th' file or files that will be outputted as well as th' options that have been selected. Ye can change how th' files be exported here.

File Formats

This be where ye can choose th' file format t' export. This screen focuses on th' common types o' file ye would want t' export includin':

• Adobe PDF be th' best way t' share yer content in an easily printable and viewable format.
• OnSong^® Archive be th' best way t' share yer content with other OnSong^® App users. It has th' full song, annotations, styles, and settings just as ye see them makin' it customizable.
• OnSong^® Text be th' content as it appears in th' song editor within th' app. If imported into another app, it will not include any annotations or style settin's.
• Text File be similar t' th' OnSong^® Text format, but uses th' more standard *.txt file extension and prefers chords over lyrics and simplified metadata.

Other File Formats

These options be hidden by default since it can get in th' way o' ease-o'-use. By turnin' on th' Show all available file formats, ye can see these originally available file formats which include:

• OpenSong be a file format used by some open-source software.
• HTML File can be used t' view th' song content in a web browser.
• Song List be a list o' th' songs contained in th' sharin' scope exported as an HTML file.
• OnSong^® Backup be a compressed file that contains th' full contents o' yer library. Ye can import this file into another device t' restore yer library.
