MIDI Shenanigans

Whether you're sendin' MIDI commands when loadin' a song, or listenin' for MIDI to load a song directly in the song viewer, the MIDI Events list is basically your command center for displayin' MIDI commands to send or listen for. (Riveting stuff, we know.)

Addin' (The Fun Part)

To add a MIDI command to the event list, tap on the + button in the lower right corner to open the MIDI Editor Thingy & add new commands. Congrats, you're a producer now.

Acquirin' (The Lazy Way)

Instead of manually creatin' MIDI commands like some kind of masochist using the MIDI editor, you can turn on the Listen for MIDI events switch to have OnSong listen for incoming commands from a MIDI device. OnSong does the heavy liftin'. You're welcome.

Deletin' (Oops!)

To delete a MIDI command from the list, swipe right to left over an item in the list to reveal a Delete button. Tap to delete the item from the list. It's gone. Forever. (Don't say we didn't warn ya.)

Editin' (Second Chances)

You can edit an item in the list by tappin' on it to open the MIDI Editor Thingy. Even we make mistakes sometimes.

Reorderin' (Shuffle Time)

You can reorder the MIDI event list by tappin' on the Edit button in the upper right corner. This places the list in editin' mode. In this mode you can tap & drag the reorderin' handles on the right to change the order that MIDI events are sent. You can also tap on the red minus icon on the left to delete MIDI events. It's like reorganizin' your playlist, but with more technical jargon & fewer people carin'.
