Attachments Menu
Th' attachments menu gives ye quick access t' different versions o' th' selected song, Arrr!
Viewin' Attachments
Attachments be listed in two sections, text and attachments. Th' text section contains text-based chord charts while th' attachments section contains other file formats like PDF or Word. In th' example displayed, we've downloaded a ChordPro-formatted file that be displayed in OnSong's text-based renderer which provides th' most powerful features o' th' app like transposition, formattin', lyrics projection, chord detection, and more, savvy?
In th' attachments section we have other files, matey. Here we see a number o' PDF files. Each file could be a specific type o' chart. For instance, there be a number o' "2 column layout" files in different keys. Additionally, there be a piano and SATB version which contains score.
Tappin' on an attachment will immediately view that attachment in th' song viewer and make that th' default attachment for th' song, Blimey!
Editin' Chords and Lyrics
When ye have a text-based chart selected, ye can tap on th' Edit Chords and Lyrics button at th' bottom t' open th' Song Editor. This button will read Edit Song Metadata when ye be viewin' a non-text attachment. Both access th' song editor t' change th' underlying text and metadata o' th' song.
Addin' Attachments
Ye can use th' + button in th' upper right t' open th' Import Menu. This will allow ye t' browse and import supported file formats. These be added as additional attachments t' th' song, Ahoy!
Performin' Actions
Ye can tap and hold (iOS/iPadOS) or right-click (macOS) t' view a context menu o' options on an attachment in th' list. This will display differently dependin' on if ye have selected a text-based attachment, or a file-based attachment and if th' current attachment be selected. This provides access t' more advanced features like extractin' text and convertin' files into PDF, and more besides, ye scallywag!
Song Viewer Settings
Ye can tap on th' wrench icon in th' upper-left corner t' access song viewer settings directly, matey.
