So like, playin' live with your band is basically a communication nightmare, amirite? Hand signals? Screamin' at each other? Gross. But ZOMG — what if you could just flash colors & text at 'em like some kinda rave, tellin' 'em where this banger's headed next? Mind. Blown.

The Setup (Yeah, You Gotta)

You can cook up & manage your own personal messages over in the Messages Hamburger. You can also trigger 'em from there, but srsly, when you're actually playin', use a Hot Corner or your Foot Pedals like a pro. Duh.

Watchin' Messages Pop Off

Messages show up on YOUR device, other peeps' devices hooked up to OnSong Connect, or any random external screen runnin' Stage Monitors. They flash for like one-third of a second per word—basically just enough time for your bandmates to squint & figure out what you're yellin' at 'em. Wanna make 'em linger longer like a bad smell? Go to Settings » Display Settings » Song Viewer » Flash Message. You're welcome.

Blastin' Messages Out There

Wanna send messages? Trigger a Send Message action in the Action Menu inside OnSong. Set it up on Hot Corners or Navigation Zones in Editors » Navigation » Screen Tab.

Or hook up your foot pedals in Foot Pedals Setup & config those bad boys to trigger a Send Message action in the Action Menu. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.
