ZOMG Add All The Tunes

OMG. There are like a bazillion ways to cram songs into your OnSong library. Pick one. Go on. We'll wait.

Add

So you wanna make up songs or steal some that already exist? This is where the magic happens™.

Import

Like, literally almost every song you own came from importin' it. We're talkin' cloud storage & websites & all sorts of bleepin' services:

  • Dropbox is some cloud thingy that's actually pretty cool for yanking documents off your computer.
  • Google Drive is another cloud situation that lets you edit stuff online. Revolutionary. We know.
  • Internet is where musicians go to find chord charts. OnSong can search websites if you set it up right. Use the Add To OnSong Safari extension — it's totes the move for hooverin' charts from like, everywhere.
  • iTunes File Sharing lets you drag & drop files from your computer via USB cable & iTunes. So 2015, but hey, it works.
  • Planning Center is for church peeps who need to organize their setlist madness with their squad.
  • SongSelect is CCLI's gift to humanity — PDFs & lyrics in text form. Ur welcome.
  • Files imports from whatever iOS storage nonsense you got set up in the Files app.
  • WorshipReady.com hand-crafts worship charts in OnSong format for people with money. Different tier tiers depending on how many charts u need per month.
  • WorshipPlanning.com makes plannin' worship way less painful. Yeet your events, songs & backing tracks straight into OnSong.
  • Other imports from random remote sources using boring protocol stuff.

Wanna add more import sources we didn't list? Enter Editing Mode & load 'em up. You can add:

  • LTC Asaph cranks out worship charts for French-speakin' congregations.

Synchronize

Keep your OnSong library synced across all your devices like some kinda cloud wizard:

  • Dropbox syncs your OnSong library to a Dropbox folder.
  • Google Drive syncs your OnSong library to a Google Drive folder.
  • Other syncs your OnSong library to some random server somewhere.

Export

Yeah we know it's weird that export is here on the "add songs" screen. Deal with it. These let you export entire books. Like, pick a book, tap one of these, & it auto-selects every song in that book & opens the Export or Email screens from the Share Menu.
