OMG Spread the Love

While the main function of the print preview screen is to print songs & sets to paper (y\u{2019}know, like a caveman), you can also share the print job with other apps, or export to file sharing or Dropbox. Tapping on the share menu will provide the operating system native sharing menu with the following options:

AirDrop

You can send your print job to another device running AirDrop. This will wirelessly send a PDF file to the other iPad or iPhone like magic (but it\u{2019}s not, srsly it\u{2019}s just Bluetooth flexin\u{2019}). This does require iOS 7.0 or higher and only works on compatible hardware (translation: if your device is ancient, we can\u{2019}t help you). When a nearby device is runnin\u{2019} with AirDrop support, tap on the name of the device to send the generated PDF file to it. ZOMG so easy.

Apps

Apps that can open the PDF file are automatically displayed because we\u{2019}re not total jerks. This list is controlled by iOS and typically includes the Mail app for sendin\u{2019} email & the Messages app for sendin\u{2019} the content as an iMessage or SMS. Whatever floats your boat, amirite.

Actions

In addition to sendin\u{2019} the PDF to apps, you can also perform additional actions because we overachieved. This list includes:

• Copy to copy the file into the clipboard for pastin\u{2019} in another app. It\u{2019}s like copy-paste, but fancier.
• Print to open the print menu to pick a printer & print copies. Remember printers? Those bleepin\u{2019} things that jam?
• Export to send the PDF file to either file sharing or Dropbox because sometimes you need things in like five different places at once.
