ONSONG CHARTS AVAILABLE NOW! LEARN MORE HERE
Read The Bleepin’ Manual
The Cloud Thingy
The servers tab will display servers on the OnSong local network including yourself. (AKA: you & your bleepin' friends.)
Hookin' Up to Servers
Tap on a server in this list to connect yourself. (Fingers crossed they say yes!) This will open a prompt on the server givin' the leader an opportunity to accept the connect or deny it. (Rejection hurts, we know.)
Readin' the API (For the Nerds Among Us)
If you tap on yourself in this list, a web browser will open with the OnSong Connect API documentation. (Congrats on your self-awareness!) This can be used to allow developers to create apps that work with OnSong. You can access the API documentation here. (We're not gonna read it either, but hey, it's there!)
Becomin' a Server (Level Up!)
At the bottom of the screen is a switch called Share your library with others. Turn this on to become a server yourself. (Ooh, look at you, bein' all generous!) After a brief moment you will be added to the list above.
The Great Reset Button of Doom
The recycle button in the lower right corner is designed to remove any & all "hooks" that are attached to you. Hooks are how OnSong sends content to clients. (Think of 'em as digital fishing lines.) This button will also clear the current whitelist of approved devices requirin' you to approve connection of those devices again. (Hope you remember which ones were cool!)
Press this button to disconnect everything & reset your server. (The nuclear option!) You must then reconnect to clients in the Devices tab. (Have fun with that approval process again, champ!)
